It has been a couple weeks since I sent out undergrounding interest letters to owners of property in the Bayview Pier-16th St. District. Since then 11 of the 55 letters (representing 57 properties) have been signed and returned.
To motivate the city to ask SCE to prepare a cost estimate, 60% of the 55 owners (i.e. 33) must sign a letter of interest. Since getting in touch personally with all of these owners myself will take too long, I will ask the more motivated owners for assistance.
Ideally I would like 8 leaders to be responsible for representing 7 owners each. This organization will come in especially handy as we continue communicating with the city to progress through the steps of undergrounding.
